"The idea is every tweet with the word 'olpc' raises a euro. With the script up and running the first laptop had been bought within an hour! The original plan was to leave it at that, but it is so successful they keep going and by midnight (twelve hours later) 1463.50 euros has been collected. Three laptops were donated via other sources. In the end 2883.50 euros were collected, good for 21 laptops."
